10 Morlun

Multiversal Psychic Vampire

Near

If Marvel Studios and Sony decide to split the difference and have Spider-Man 4 While the universe is multiversal and more realistic, the Inheritor known as Morlun could be the villain to help make that happen. A psychic vampire capable of traveling the multiverse, Morlun and his fellow Inheritors are one of the greatest threats to the Spider-Verse and its heroes. In his quest to feed on the life forces of spiders and their existence as powerful totems, Morlun relentlessly pursues Peter Parker through the streets of New York, potentially mirroring his comic book debut.

Facing off against Morlun could also be the start of a narrative that eventually connects the MCU’s Peter Parker to Sony’s larger Spider-Verse. According to prophecy, Morlun and his family eventually set out to kill all of the Spider-totems across the multiverse. As such, Morlun could be a truly terrifying MCU villain on the big screen, one that opens up a world of countless relationships for the Webslinger to explore.

9 Black cat

Spider-Man’s enemy and love interest

Near

Sony has reportedly been trying to make a Black Cat movie for years. Real name Felicia Hardy, Black Cat is an extremely talented cat burglar who has since become something of an anti-hero in the Marvel Universe. She is also Spider-Man’s on-again, off-again love interest.

It’s worth noting that there have been recent rumors that Sony may be considering Sydney Sweeney to play Black Cat (despite her previous experience). Mrs. Web role as Julia Carpenter before becoming Spider-Woman). Regardless, any version of Felicia Hardy would certainly be exciting, especially given Peter Parker’s current status quo in the wake of Spider-Man: No Way HomeAfter the spell that saved the world and also made everyone forget about Peter Parker, one could argue that the time has come for Spider-Man to tangle with Black Cat in the MCU.

8 Mr. Negative

Leader of the Inner Demons

Near

A classic Spider-Man villain made famous by his prominent role in Sony’s recent film. Spiderman In the PlayStation games, Mister Negative could be a very interesting foe for Peter Parker to face in the MCU. Having been exposed to Darkforce energy, Martin Li developed a darker personality known as Mister Negative, while also gaining incredible energy powers. As such, Li set out to become the crime boss of Chinatown in New York as the leader of the Inner Demons gang.

Yeah Spider-Man 4 In fact, while more realistic, Mister Negative could be the perfect villain to expose Spider-Man to the ins and outs of New York organized crime. It also helps that he displays fantastic powers of his own, ensuring that the film will still have some incredible action sequences (as evidenced by the Spiderman Likewise, the games’ Mister Negative actor, Stephen Oyoung, has already expressed his hopes of one day playing the character in live-action (and he’s also trained in martial arts).

7 hammerhead shark

A major New York crime boss

Near

Another classic crime boss from the Marvel Universe, Hammerhead could be an incredibly intimidating villain for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to face in his next adventure. Many are expecting Peter Parker to start taking on New York’s criminal underworld, especially considering the ending of No way homeTo that end, Hammerhead and his extreme durability could make him a major antagonist in the future of the MCU, while also leading the crime family known as the Maggia.

6 Tombstone

Enemy of Spider-Man and Daredevil

Near

Tombstone could be an equally good choice for a more realistic setting. Spider-Man 4Much like Mister Negative and Hammerhead, Tombstone, played by Lonnie Lincoln, is also a key character in the New York underworld and also possesses some additional abilities, in his case being an incredibly strong albino who was physically enhanced to extreme levels. He also has a past with none other than Joeseph “Robbie” Robertson of the Daily Bugle, and is also a frequent foe of Daredevil, something that would be very exciting if Matt Murdock and Peter Parker teamed up like many MCU fans are hoping for. Spider-Man 4.

5 Scorpion

With full armor

Near

Technically, the Scorpion has already appeared in the MCU as seen in 2017. Spider-Man: HomecomingPlayed by Michael Mando, one of Vulture’s clients was none other than Mac Gargan, who was seen sporting a scorpion tattoo on his neck. There was also a post-credits scene where the future Scorpion talks to Vulture about going after Spider-Man, though the joke still doesn’t come true seven years later.

To that end, it would be very exciting to see a fully-fledged Scorpion in the future MCU with Spider-Man 4with the armored suit from the comics that Gargan eventually finds himself trapped in. Gargan’s origins could also be depicted pretty well now that J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) has made his MCU debut, having been the one who paid for and hired Gargan to wear the Scorpion suit and hunt down Spider-Man, complete with a prehensile tail capable of firing deadly acid. Scorpion could help boost Sony’s long-held hopes of getting an on-screen Sinister Six off the ground.

4 chameleon

The ultimate master of disguise

Near

The Chameleon was Spider-Man’s first supervillain in the comics, an incredible master of disguise who tormented and evaded the Scratch as well as any of Peter Parker’s other foes. However, he has yet to make it to the big screen or the MCU. It’s worth noting that Dmitri Smerdyakov, Kraven the Hunter’s half-brother, will be in Sony’s upcoming film. Kraven film played by Fred Hechinger. However, it is unknown if this version of Dimitri will receive his own origins and transformation into the Chameleon. Either way, any version of the Chameleon would be a villain unlike any other seen in the MCU so far.

3 The Jackal

Miles Warren could give the MCU its own clone saga

Near

Professor Miles Warren could be taking the MCU’s Spider-Man down some crazy new paths in his upcoming trilogy. Also known as the Jackal, Warren is responsible for the Spider-Man clone saga, having created classic characters like the Scarlet Spiders (Ben Reilly and Kaine), both clones of Peter Parker himself who have been both rivals and allies. While it would certainly be a crazy new path for the MCU, Jackal could lead to some very interesting stories for Tom Holland’s Webslinger that are certainly worth considering.

2 silver marten

Leader of the wild pack

Near

Sony has wanted to bring Silver Sable to live action as much as Black Cat, so much so that they had an idea for a while Silver and black Film in development. In the comics, Silvija Sablinova hails from the nation of Symkaria, having been trained by her father to avenge her mother’s death. Following her father’s death, Sablinova became the leader of the mercenary group known as the Wild Pack and head of Silver Sable International. As such, she has been both a rival and sometimes ally of Spider-Man in the comics, a character that would certainly make for some interesting dynamics in the MCU.

1 The rose

Kingpin’s Son

Near

Wilson Fisk’s Kingpin is about to make a big return in the MCU with Daredevil: Born Againhaving made appearances in both Hawkeye and Marvel Echo after its original debut on Netflix Reckless series (which is now canon to the MCU again). However, it would be very interesting if Fisk’s son was also revealed to be in the MCU, a crime boss in his own right known as The Rose. As seen on the page, Richard Fisk became The Rose with ambitions of one day taking over his father’s role as Kingpin of New York (despite his father’s best efforts).

While not as well-known as his father, facing off against The Rose could be a dynamic stepping stone for Spider-Man before eventually facing off against the Kingpin himself. Parker could team up with Daredevil to take down the elder Fisk, as many expect. Spider-Man 4Perhaps defeating The Rose could be what puts Spider-Man on Kingpin’s radar in the MCU.
