How to find all map fragments in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
There are a total of five map fragments to collect in Shadow of the Erdtree, and they are scattered throughout the main areas of the DLC. Here’s how to get to all of the map fragment locations in the Elden Ring DLC:

The first map fragment is right at the beginning of the DLC when you enter Shadowlands. From the starting area, head northeast and find a landmark on the side of the road. However, be careful of the Cursed Blade Dervish enemy, which will jump at you from a tombstone on the road. It is very aggressive, and as an initial enemy, it does a lot of damage.

For the location of this map fragment, we’ll start at Grace’s Castle Station. Follow the road southeast until you come across a soldier on the edge of a cliff.

Continue down until you reach a pond with a large crab and a flower. Go through the flower and enter the cave. At the end of the cave you will reach the Land of Grace of the River Erak.

Once you exit the cave, turn left. You will find some ledges that you can jump onto. Keep jumping forward onto the rocks until you reach the bottom. It will take you to the Land of Grace, which is located downstream of the Erak River.

Go along the river, you will encounter crabs and furnace golems. Take the road to the right of the furnace golem and go straight to enter the Cerulean Coast.

Go down the path ahead and you’ll find a landmark with a map fragment next to it.
Scaduartes map fragment location
There are two ways to reach this map fragment location. You can either enter Ensis Castle and defeat the final boss to reach the next area, or you can skip the boss fight and choose another path to reach this area.

To take the other path, head to the cliff where the soldier is again and reach the water source below. This time, don’t go into the cave behind the giant flower, but take the path on the left that leads to the poisonous swamp.

Continue along this path until you come across a Spirit Spring. However, the Spirit Spring will not be activated. You will need to hit the rocks on the ledge above to activate the Spirit Spring.
Once activated, jump onto the Spirit Spring to reach the Fort of Condemnation. Exit the fort from the front and take the path to the right. Continue straight ahead, passing the soldiers fighting the dragon.

You’ll know you’ve reached the right location when you see the soldiers and the Forge Golem at the castle gates.
Rauh basemap fragment location

Start at the Miquella cross behind the last map fragment location and head east. You’ll come across a lake with blue worms. There will be a cave entrance near them with a statue of Marika in front of it. Come out the other side of the cave with poisonous water under your feet.

Take the left path through the poisonous swamp and ignore the giant bird. This path will lead you to the Rauh Base area.

Continue straight ahead, past the two giants, to find a landmark with a map fragment.
Abyssal Wood Map Fragment Location
The last one is fairly tedious, requiring you to enter the Shadowkeep Legacy dungeon and defeat a giant hippo boss.

Once you’re done, if the door on the left doesn’t open for you, take the path on the right. Go past the soldiers and up the stairs. Keep going until you reach an open area with a ship in the middle.

Go through this area to the other side and look to your left to find a ladder. Go down the ladder and there is another ladder behind the waterfall to go down.

Enter the room with the painting and roll onto the wall to the right of the painting. This is a secret passage leading to a coffin. Enter the coffin to reach the next area.

From here, keep right and follow the path. There will be another Place of Grace here. Keep going straight, making sure to jump over the holes. Once you reach the enemy, jump to the other side and keep going straight until you reach another Place of Grace.

Look down and you’ll see tombstones sticking out of the side of the mountain. You’ll jump on them and head down. Follow the water again and you’ll find more tombstones. Parkour down the mountain and go left to the side of the mountain to find the entrance to the Darklight Catacombs. Go through the dungeon and defeat the final boss to open the way to the Abyssal Forest.

After you exit the dungeon, head straight to the Land of Grace. However, you will no longer be able to use Ghost Seeds in this area. Keep running along the road until you encounter the Crazy Hand invader.

Defeat him and then go directly in front of the abandoned church to find the map fragment.
That’s it. All map fragments have been found, and now you have a complete Shadowlands map. You should also consider buying some cool armor sets, like the Solitude Set, or learning how to transform into a humanoid dragon.
