Gems are the preferred currency and players can earn them by beating levels in story and infinite modes. These gems can be used to summon more characters or purchase items from the Traveling Merchant Shop. If players want to make their characters stronger, they can level them up by completing levels in the story and infinite modes or by using XP food.
