Armored Core 6 gameplay

Armored Core VI deftly introduces players to the world of mech vehicular combat, allowing them to become skilled pilots of powerful machines called “Armored Cores.” The game features extensive customization options, allowing players to fine-tune and enhance their mechs’ capabilities through a vast array of parts.

A standout feature is that players can equip a wide variety of weapons on their mechs, with designated slots on each arm and two slots on the back of the mech. This flexibility in equipment selection provides players with strategic freedom in the heat of battle.

Armored Core VI retains the iconic arena concept of its predecessor, introducing the “Combat Capability Evaluation Program.” Through this simulation, players can engage in battle with powerful NPC mechs and earn valuable “OS Tuning” chips to unlock specific abilities and upgrades. The multiplayer aspect makes the game even more exciting, with players able to play 1v1 or 3v3 matches. The game initially featured private lobbies, and later introduced ranked matches in subsequent updates.

The in-game economy is centered around credits, which are currency earned by players for successfully completing missions. Credit income is affected by a variety of factors, including rewards for achieving additional objectives and deductions for repair and ammunition costs.
