One of the best scenes in Bad Boys: Ride or Die doesn’t involve the titular Bad Boys at all, with it instead focusing on Mike’s son Armando. At the start of the film, Armando is still in prison after the events of Bad Boys for Life, although Mike and Marcus want to recruit him for their newest mission. However, while in the prison courtyard, several other prisoners attack Armando, with him having to fight them off.
Compared to some of the other action scenes in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Armando’s prison fight feels so much more grounded and brutal. Armando uses workout equipment like weights to fight back against his assailants, leading to some truly painful hits. The scene is a great way to reintroduce Armando after Bad Boys for Life, setting him up as a more aggressive member of the Bad Boys team.

9 Mike & Marcus’ Encounter With The Racists

One of the funniest scenes in Bad Boys: Ride or Die takes place shortly after Mike, Marcus, and Armando are forced to go on the run from the law. While attempting to change their appearance, the trio steals some clothes. However, they soon discover that the clothes they have stolen feature racist messaging, with the owners of the clothes coming out and confronting them. This leads to a hilarious scene in which Mike and Marcus have to pretend to be the true owners of the clothes, playing into stereotypes of rural racists.
This scene was heavily featured in the marketing for Bad Boys: Ride or Die, and it is incredibly hilarious in context. The scene is also reminiscent of one of the best action scenes in Bad Boys history, with that being Mike and Marcus’ Klan bust in Bad Boys II.

However, Bad Boys: Ride or Die shockingly kills Fletcher, leading to a tense gunfight in the gallery. The shootout leads to the exterior of the building, with the shootout turning into an epic car chase that features Mike doing an on-foot pursuit of Fletcher’s killers.

Marcus’ hear attack is presented with some fantastic visual flairs, with Martin Lawrence’s character falling through the floor and emerging into a watery void.
Marcus then has a vision of the late Captain Howard, with the duo having a conversation. Although it is not literally happening in the universe of Bad Boys, this is the first time that Howard and Marcus have interacted since the former’s death in Bad Boys for Life. Howard is also the one who tells Marcus that it isn’t his time to die, setting up a hilarious running gag that continues throughout Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

The Bad Boys and their AMMO partners show up at the swampy location in order to break in and rescue Christine and Callie from the film’s antagonists. The external action moments are already incredible enough, but once they get inside things get even more fun.
Long takes and drone shots make this Bad Boys: Ride or Die scene one of the most visually memorable in the entire film. Every character is here, with each one getting a moment that shows why they are unique. On top of the fun action beats, the looming threat of a remaining alligator raises the stakes even more, leading to some more memorable moments.

To make matters worse, Armando is locked in a giant cage, meaning that it is incredibly difficult to rescue him while the helicopter is barreling toward the ground below.
