• Introduced some crash protections to ensure that when a save game fails to load, you are sent back to the main menu.
• Fixed some issues causing the second player in split screen to have a black screen for 30 seconds.
• Fixed a bug during a trade where containers (such as camp supply bags) would not open if you selected a different character than the one initiating the trade. This also fixes a sneaky money exploit.
• Fixed a bug that caused the environment to never take its turn, thus preventing combat from progressing.
• Fixed a bug where you would get stuck in combat if there were still some bats left after you defeated Cazador.
• Fixed infinite loot bug where the Scale Armor of Herd Master Skajar would be duplicated every time the Whipping Staff was removed from him.
• Fixed a bug that caused the criminal dialogue for Trespassing to be displayed too frequently next to the Steelwatch Foundry.
• Fixed some banding and shader issues in the cinematic that were causing VFX artifacts on faces at certain angles.
• Fixed an issue where Minthara sometimes did not follow the party in Act 2 or Act 3.
• Fixed a case where Harsin would not move to his location when you reach “Last Light” in Act II.
• Fixed an issue where Minthara would not leave the party after being escorted out of Moonrise Tower.
• Fixed an issue where when you try to talk to a character, the character will tell you they are too busy to talk to you. They are lying.
• Fixed missing label textures in the Trade UI.
• Hid filter tags when bartering with traders, these will be reintroduced in a future update after further testing.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when preloading complex movies.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing video game that you can play alone or with friends. You can create a character and form a party to explore the game’s story. You can also team up with other players and their characters online.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Plot

The protagonist wakes up on a giant spaceship owned by a mind flayer, a creature that implants parasitic tadpoles in the human body. The spaceship is attacked by Githyanki warriors, and the protagonist escapes with other survivors. They all have tadpoles implanted in their bodies.

The party tries various methods to get rid of the tadpoles, but all fail. They discover a “Dream Visitor” in Shadowheart’s Prism, which protects them from the tadpoles’ mental influence. They then become embroiled in a conflict between druids and demonic refugees and goblins who worship the cult of the Absolute.

They travel to Moonrise Tower in search of a cure. There, they learn of General Keseric Thom’s plan to use a relic called the Nightsong to gain immortality. The team confronts Keseric and learns of the Absolute, an elder brain that controls Tadpole.

In Baldur’s Gate, they confronted Orin and Gortash, allies of Keseric, who were manipulating them. They discovered that the “dream visitor” was actually an illithid named the Emperor, who used a githyanki prisoner named Orpheus for psionic resistance.

The protagonist confronts Orin and Gortash, trying to subdue the Mastermind. They realize that the Hellstone requires the power of Orpheus. They must either free Orpheus or sacrifice him to defeat the Mastermind.

In the end, the protagonist can choose to kill the Mastermind and end the threat, or betray their friends and rule with absolute power.
