In the game “Ready or Not,” you play as a character named “Judge” David Beaumont, who leads a team of police officers against criminals. This is a game where authenticity is very important. This means it only takes a few shots to eliminate you and your enemies. Therefore, you need to plan your actions carefully and use smart strategies.

You can choose from many different guns such as rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, and pistols. You can also customize them with different sights, attachments, suppressors, and more. Your team can also use items such as stun grenades, special scopes, shields, and door-breaking tools.

Since you are part of a police team, the game encourages you to catch suspects without harming them. So, you have non-lethal weapons like tasers, riot guns, and pepper spray. If you arrest suspects instead of shooting them, you will gain more points in the game. But unlike some older games in the SWAT series, the use of these non-lethal weapons can sometimes accidentally injure or even kill suspects or innocent people.

When you are dealing with a suspect, it is important to have them handcuffed because sometimes they may surprise you by pretending to be depressed or unconscious and then attack. The game advises that if you must use deadly force, aim for the middle of the suspect’s body.

You have to be careful about who you shoot in the game. If you shoot a restrained suspect, an innocent person, or a member of your own team, the police will hunt you down in the game because doing so is against the rules. Choosing wisely when and what to shoot is an important part of successfully completing a mission in Ready or Not Ready.

Prepared or unprepared game modes

Blocking Suspects: Missions like “Thank You, One More Time” and “Fatal Obsession” fall into this category. Here you will be faced with dealing with suspects, rescuing hostages and collecting evidence. There are specific rules of engagement to follow when dealing with these challenging scenarios.

Raid: “Valley of the Dolls” and “Buy Cheap, Buy Twice” are examples of missions in Raid mode. Similar to Lockdown Suspect, but without penalties for violating rules of engagement, these missions focus on dealing with suspects and resolving critical situations.

Active Shooter: Missions like “Neon Tomb” are active shooter modes where the main goal is to stop suspects who are actively harming civilians. This model requires swift and decisive action to protect innocent lives.

Combo Modes: Missions such as “Relapse” and “Elephant” combine modes such as “Bomb Threat” and “Active Shooter”. Players are challenged to locate and defuse bombs while dealing with suspects who pose an immediate threat.

Hostage Rescue: The “Sins of the Father” mission revolves around the hostage rescue mode. In these missions, the main objective is to rescue the hostages from criminals, who may harm the hostages if they sense the presence of the police.
