Where can I find all the hidden symbols in Desecration 2?

In Blasphemous 2, finding hidden symbols is both challenging and rewarding, as they are strategically placed throughout the game world. You can find every hidden symbol here:

Hidden symbol one position:

The first hidden symbol is located in the Silent One’s resting area, on the front of the sarcophagus from which the Confessor emerged at the beginning of your journey.

Hidden symbol two position:

For the second hidden symbol, head to the City of Holy Names. Once you’ve acquired the Scions’ protective ability, climb the golden ring near the teleporter to reach the bell hanging from the ceiling. This symbol is located on the face of the clock.

Hidden symbol three positions:

In the Chorus of Thorns area, you’ll find the third hidden symbol near the starting section. Drop down to the bottom of the area, stand on the rocks near the spike pit and breakable platform, and use the Twisted Bell to reveal the symbol.

Hidden symbol four positions:

In the Tower Crown Dungeon, head to the original Prie-Dieu and walk across a screen. Above the first step on the right you will see a rosary with a hidden symbol. Use the Twisted Bell here to get it.

Hidden symbol five positions:

This hidden symbol is located in the Embroidery Palace dungeon and requires you to navigate to the Prie-Dieu in the middle. Move two screens to the right until you’re roughly in the center of the area. Near the upper right corner of the room where you face Orospina’s boss, hidden symbols are woven into a web hanging from the ceiling.

Hidden symbol six positions:

In the Mother’s Mother dungeon, go to the Prie-Dieu at the very bottom and go right until you find a tree. Use the Twisted Bell in front of the tree to reveal the sixth hidden symbol.

Seven locations of hidden symbols:

In the same dungeon where you obtained the Twisted Bell, head to the next area and jump over the crumbling platforms. Reach the solid platform in front of the long broken pillar. Use the Twisted Bell to reveal the seventh hidden symbol near the top of the pillar.

Hidden symbol eight positions:

Located in the Elevated Temple Dungeon, proceed to two rooms from the Prie-Dieu on the top floor near the Church of the Five Doves. Enter the upper right room where a bedridden sister/candle is located. Look for the eighth hidden symbol on the metal rod that makes up the headboard.

Hidden symbol nine position:

In the Ink Sea area, before entering the Sunken Cathedral Dungeon, look for a series of statues on the background wall near the entrance. One of the statues holds the ninth hidden symbol. Use your Twisted Bell to get it.

Ten locations of hidden symbols:

In the Dungeon of Two Moons, proceed from the lone Prie-Dieu in the upside-down section to the room on the left. Climb the ladder to the top of the large pillar in the center of the room. Jump onto the platform where the mirror is in the upper right corner. Break the mirror to reveal the tenth and final hidden symbol.

Through these locations, you’ll be able to uncover all the hidden symbols and further immerse yourself in the intricate world of Blasphemous 2.

“Desecration 2” gameplay

“Blasphemous 2” continues the tradition of its predecessor as a 2D side-scrolling Metroidvania action-adventure game. Players once again assume the role of the Penitent, a silent knight who embarks on a new adventure in a new kingdom to prevent the resurgence of the curse known as “The Miracle.”

The sequel is set in the original game’s “Twilight Wounds” update, presenting a world filled with dangerous traps, challenging platforming sections, powerful enemies, and impressive boss encounters. Additionally, players will interact with non-playable characters who can provide assistance or be assigned side quests, adding depth to the game’s narrative.

Building on the series, Desecration 2 introduces a series of new weapons, each with unique attributes such as range, speed, special abilities, and personal skill trees. Players have access to weapons such as the powerful and slow War Censer, dual-wielding and fast rapiers and daggers, and the versatile Prayer Blade, which combines the best of both worlds.

Not only do these weapons enhance combat, they also aid exploration by unlocking new paths and facilitating puzzle solving. The protagonist’s abilities can be further customized according to the player’s preferences. Up to five “rosaries” can be equipped, providing passive enhancements, while two active spells (called prayers) can add strategic depth to combat.

Contains collectible statues that when combined together provide incremental rewards and more significant advantages, adding an extra layer of customization to the gaming experience.
