In the fictional city of New Amsterdam, prominent gang member Fox wakes up in a police cell. Tryce, who aims to create a new gang, helps Fox escape from prison and reveals that Fox is part of a triumvirate that rules the entire city. During their escape, a mysterious figure in a robe decapitates Fox with a thrown vinyl record.
Later, Telles’ new gang resurrected Fox with a cybernetic head, losing all of his previous memories and identity. Fox changes his name to Red and learns that DJ Cyber stole his original head. Tryce explains Red’s past as a member of the Big 3 and sets out with Bel to retrieve Faux’s head from DJ Cyber.
