To support her case and prove the level of financial support she needed, Baumgartner filed court documents detailing Costner’s income and expenses for the previous year. The documents show that Costner and his family spent nearly $12 million on various expenses during this period. According to court documents, Costner’s total pre-tax income was $19,517,064.32, which included income from television and film projects, rent and Social Security benefits. Much of Costner’s spending goes to his three properties in Santa Barbara, California, Aspen, Colorado, and a property he calls a “beach house.”

Baumgartner is seeking $248,000 per month in child support to help support their three children. Court documents further reveal that she wants Costner to pay for her children’s private school tuition, extracurricular activities, athletic expenses and medical expenses.
