Project schedule and budget

The estimated cost of this large project is about 2,4948.65 billion. Since the project approved in March 2019, DMRC has begun different construction phases. Major progress has been made in recent months. Priority corridor is expected to be completed by March 2026, although some estimates show that due to various logistics challenges, the complete operating conditions may be extended to 2028.

Connectivity effect

The fourth stage aims to solve the last mile connection problem faced by residents of the newly developed housing area developed by NCR. By connecting the main residential hub with the existing subway line, it aims to promote commuting and promote public transportation of personal vehicles.

New subway stations can not only alleviate traffic congestion, but also reduce air pollution by encouraging more people to choose subway travels rather than cars or bus.

The Delhi Metro expands through the fourth stage to represent major investment in urban infrastructure, and is expected to reshape the commute landscape in Derry and its neighboring areas. With the progress of construction and the opening ceremony of the new station, residents can expect to enhance the ability to maintain consistent with the living standards of modern cities.
