How to obtain evil magic weapon?

exotic fishing

In this step, you need to catch three specific exotic fish species in different locations: EDZ, Nessus, and Throne World Fishing Spots. Exotic capture rates are currently doubled, making them easier to complete. Once these fish are caught, place them in the helmet to receive the three Broken Blade items.

broken blade

With three broken blades, start deep diving activities. There are three locations where you’ll need to stash these blades before reaching the second encounter. It doesn’t matter if you’ve already deposited these funds in previous weeks. One location is in the body of water before the first encounter, another is in a door that opens to the left after the first encounter, and the last one is in the second body of water. See the video guide for specific locations. Only one person on your team needs to complete the Exotic Fish step for it to work.

Mission starts

After activating three statues and enduring Siou’s taunts, you’ll complete the second encounter. Avoid activating any Dark Trials as they will make subsequent steps more difficult. A door will open on the right side of the arena, taking you to three statues that need to be reactivated. Make your way through the underwater area, fight occupied enemies, and reach the first boss.

first boss

The first boss encounter is a tutorial on the mechanics. You must kill three yellow-striped Minotaurs to receive the x3 buff, allowing you to deal actual damage to the boss. The first part is testing a small portion of the boss’ health. In the second part, after shooting the two Dark Triggers (one of which is hidden under the stairs), the real battle begins and the 10-minute timer starts. The second boss isn’t particularly difficult; shoot the Dark Trigger to reveal more Minotaurs and focus your fire on the boss. Since time is limited, efficiency is crucial.

torturer boss

This is the challenging part. You’ll make your way through mazes, looking for minotaurs around corners, while being chased by a tormentor boss who can punch and overpower you. Once all three Minotaurs are defeated, regroup in the middle of the damage phase. If you die after this phase, you lose the buff and can’t deal damage until the next round.

In terms of loadouts, Divinity and Linear Fusions have shown success, but others use Divinity and Retrofit Escapade machine guns. Thunder Lord’s lightning attack can stun the boss. Keep in mind that the boss has a lot of health and moves a lot, making it difficult to hit critical spots (hence the use of divinity).

tool of evil

Defeat the boss and climb some stairs to find another Veil Statue. Collect the Evil Tool Gun and explore the maze, shooting the seven floating pyramid objects to gain XP, victory, and new dialogue from Xivu when you return to the statue.

Congratulations! You’ve acquired the Tool of Evil, a bizarre scout rifle powered by kinetic and stationary energy.

What do evil tools do?

The Wicked Implement is a visually stunning exotic scout rifle in Destiny 2 with a 140 RPM (rounds per minute) rate of fire. This weapon offers some perks specifically for Stasis fans who participate in end-game content. Its inherent trait, “Creep Consumption,” provides the ability to slow down targets with rapid, precise strikes. This effect is especially beneficial for controlling and immobilizing enemies.

Additionally, the exotic perk, Tithe Harvest, grants the ability to spawn stasis shards when killing enemies slowed by slow consumption. The Stasis Shard is then returned to the player, instantly reloading the Tool of Evil. Importantly, this stasis shard functions like a regular stasis shard, allowing players to utilize a variety of armor mods and stasis shards for enhanced synergy and customization.

While Tool of Evil may not be great in terms of raw damage output, its true potential shines in events featuring champions, as the slow and freeze effects can effectively stun overloaded and unstoppable champions. Additionally, it has proven particularly effective against basic enemies with enough durability to be frozen, making it a valuable asset in encounters such as Master Nightfall.

With its unique strengths and versatility, Tools of Evil offers Stasis fans an interesting option for challenging endgame content. By taking advantage of its freezing capabilities and taking advantage of the included static fragment mechanic, players can unleash the weapon’s full potential in encounters that require crowd control and strategic maneuvering.
