How to unlock Gaston in Disneyland’s Valley of Dreams?

To get Gaston in Disneyland’s Valley of Dreams, follow these steps:

• Get cracks in time expansion:

Purchase the “A Rift in Time” expansion pack. This will unlock a new area where you’ll find Gaston. Before Gaston, make sure you’ve unlocked Rapunzel.

• Explore the sparkling sand dunes:

Complete the main quest in Timeless Isle until you reach the shimmering sand dunes. There, you’ll find Gaston near the Sand Falls on the left side of the map.

When talking to Gaston, he will mention that he is hungry. Collect the agaves, scorpions, and dates, then return to him. Then, find coconut shells, homemade glue, and a color palette as clues.

Collect the clues and talk to Gaston again. Unlock the Wasteland for 4,000 Mist, then head to the east of the area to talk to Gaston again.

Fish the LeFou from the quicksand near Gaston. Use the Royal Hourglass to find Desert Scarab Fragments in the plains.

• Complete the “Wild Tangled Swarm” mission:

Talk to Jafar and Gaston to start the quest. Wait a few hours for Gaston to “refocus.” After waiting, talk to him again, then talk to Rapunzel. Take photos of swarms of insects in the woods.
