Disney Dream Valley survey may hint at future characters
Gameloft, the company behind Disney’s Dreamland, has released a survey to find out which characters players want in future updates to the game. They’re considering options like Lumiere and Cogsworth, Timon and Pumbaa, or Rex and BoPeep, and they want players to share their preferences.

The game’s first paid expansion, titled “A Rift in Time,” has introduced a new world called “The Timeless Isle.” This expansion includes three new areas to explore: Ancient Lands, Glittering Dunes, and Wild Tangle, as well as new characters, quests, and resources. The survey not only asks about the characters, but also hints at potential new star trails themes for future updates. Recent routes have focused on the Frozen franchise, with other options under consideration including a Disney Classic Star Trail featuring characters such as Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Robin Hood.
Gameloft is actively working with the Disney Dreamlight Valley community to seek player input to shape the future of the game. While some players are disappointed with the switch to free-to-play, Gameloft remains committed to supporting the game. They even announced a 2024 roadmap, promising to add Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog and Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc. by the end of summer 2024, at no additional cost to players.
