The news was confirmed by JorRaptor, who attended a preview event to check out the game. They confirmed on Twitter that while the game does have an online co-op mode, Lego Horizon Adventures will not support cross-platform play, despite early rumors that the game would support cross-platform play.

This is a bit disappointing in every way, and we wonder why the game doesn’t support this feature. It would be a great opportunity for players on different platforms to enjoy a two-player experience together, but they seem to be limited by the platform ecosystem.
LEGO Horizon Adventure Platform
The game will be coming to PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store later this year. No release date has been confirmed yet, but it will be released in Holiday 2024.
Although PlayStation has not officially confirmed that cross-platform play will not be supported, we believe that this information will be announced once the store page goes live. Several media outlets that also attended the preview event, including Push Square, also confirmed this.

We’re glad that the game at least has couch co-op, as the game looks perfect for playing with friends. Gameplay is also said to be fairly short, with the campaign clocking in at around seven to eight hours.
