Peters also has earned a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor, and he is still in the prime of his career, with plenty of big roles ahead of him. In 2025, Peters joins the cast of the Tron franchise, and it remains to be seen what his career looks like as he continues.

Released in 2005, Invasion was a science fiction alien invasion show that was slightly based on Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The series has water-based creatures infiltrating a small Florida town after a hurricane, where they start to take over the bodies of the townspeople and replace them. The cast was impressive, with William Fichtner in the lead. Evan Peters also took on a role when he was only 17.

Despite the cancelation, Invasion received mostly positive reviews, with 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Peters played Jesse Varon, the teenage son of Eddie Cibrian’s Russell Varon. He was mostly a recurring character in the series and was someone who made it to the final episode of the series, which was canceled after just one season. Despite the cancelation, Invasion received mostly positive reviews, with 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. Considered by many to be one of the shows canceled too soon, it remains solid sci-fi entertainment.

In some fun trivia, there were two people who played Quicksilver in Marvel movies. Aaron Taylor-Johnson played the character in the MCU while Evan Peters played the character in the Fox X-Men movies. Both actors also starred in another comic book movie before that, playing best friends. That movie was Kick-Ass, based on the comics by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.. Taylor-Johnson starred as Kick-Ass, a young man with no powers who tried to fight crime anyway.

As for Peters, he was Kick-Ass’s best friend, Todd Haynes. While it was a smaller role (Clark Duke played a third friend), Peters was important to the plot, as he was there to help keep Dave grounded as he started to get a little too deep into the weeds of the criminal underworld. Peters was not back for the sequel, which was a loss for the franchise. Duke got to be a hero in the sequel, but Peters had already moved on.

American Animals was a 2018 heist film based on a true story. It told the tale of the Transylvania University Book Heist, which took place in Lexington, Kentucky in 2004. The movie is done in a very interesting format, as there are interviews with the real-life people involved in the actual heist, intercut with actors playing out the events described in the interview segments. Evan Peters stars as Warren Lipka.

The real Warren Lipka appears in the film during the interview segments. Lipka was a student on an athletics scholarship at the University of Kentucky who had been selling fake IDs until he heard about the valuable book collection and decided to help play the heist. Joining Peters in the cast is Barry Keoghan and Blake Jenner, and critics praised the cast and the themes, awarding it an 88% fresh rating.

Mare of Easttown is a critically acclaimed TV show that earned Kate Winslet a lot of recognition for her performance as a detective investigating a murder in a small town outside of Philadelphia. The premise follows the murder of a teenage mother. Mare, a local hero since she was a high school basketball star years ago, is now a police detective. However, she had been unable to solve a missing person’s case from the year before concerning a young girl.

As for Evan Peters, he plays a younger police detective named Colin Zabel. He works for the county and was called in to help Mare on the case. Sadly, Peter’s role in the series doesn’t last for long. He ended up going on a date with Mare and seemed to be moving into romantic territory for her, but he was shot in the head by the kidnapper and killed, which contributed to Mare’s descent into darkness as she finishes up her investigation.

Released in 2024, Agatha All Along is the sequel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe series WandaVision. This series follows Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness and follows her as she takes a coven of witches down the Witch’s Road to try to gain her powers back. While this was a sequel to WandaVision, Hahn and Debra Jo Rupp were the only two actors to return in major roles, although there were returning actors in small supporting roles.

One of the returning actors was Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner in a funny and unexpected appearance. In WandaVision, he showed up as Quicksilver, although it turned out he was not the real Quicksilver (and it was a fan favorite moment since he was from Fox’s movies and not the MCU). In Agatha All Along, he was there to answer questions for William Kaplan (Joe Locke) about who Agatha really is. It was a nice cameo and a fun moment in a great series.

There are only a few things that Fox’s Marvel movies did better than the MCU. The thing that they improved on the best was Quicksilver. In the MCU, Aaron Taylor-Johnson played Quicksilver, and it was a letdown for fans of the comics. However, Evan Peters debuted as Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and was a fan favorite who ended up returning in later movies and remains the best of the two versions of the character.

He had two of the best scenes in the X-Men movies…

It is important to know that he was not loyal to the comics, but that shows how great Evan Peters was in the role because even fans who knew he was different loved this version of the character. He had two of the best scenes in the X-Men movies when he ran so fast that the scenes showed everyone else frozen as he moved around them and made changes to either save lives or defeat enemies.

Evan Peters was one of the rare white actors to appear in the series as the character, Stan Bowes.

In Pose, Stan is Patty Bowes (Kate Mara)’s husband who works in Trump Tower. He ends up cheating on his wife with Angel (Indya Moore), a trans woman sex worker. Peters’ character only appears in the first season of the series as he leaves Angel when he realizes how intense her lifestyle is and she refuses to take him back, ending his story on the show. WandaVision, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first TV show on Disney+, first aired in 2021. The series kicked off the MCU’s Phase 4 and brought back Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, and Paul Bettany as Vision. WandaVision strayed away from Marvel’s typical formula, this time formatting itself more like a classic sitcom as Wanda struggles to cope with the death of Vision.

WandaVision was the first Disney+ original series from the MCU, and it remains one of the best. In this series, Wanda is living in a small town with her husband Vision, which is strange since Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War. However, what makes the series so fascinating is that each episode was designed to look like specific shows from different eras of sitcoms, and when the reason is unveiled, everything is turned on its head.

The best TV show that Evan Peters ever appeared in is the American Horror Story anthology franchise. The big reason this stands out is that he is a recurring cast member who takes on different roles in each of the seasons. Evan Peters got his start with the franchise with the first season, Murder House, in 2011. He played Tate Langdon, a 17-year-old psychiatric patient. He was back for the first time in the second season, Asylum, as Kyle, a college student who becomes romantically involved with a witch.
