FFXIV 6.41 Patch Notes: All Latest Features

FFXIV Latest Patch Notes

On June 19, 2023, Final Fantasy XIV players received the long-awaited version 6.41, which brought a burst of excitement to the Kingdom of Eorzea. This latest update introduces a wealth of exciting new content and enhancements that will have adventurers eagerly awaiting their next great adventure. One notable fix in this patch addresses an issue with island sanctuaries.

Previously, leaving the supply and demand window open and listing multiple products would cause the client to force close when the clock struck midnight in the real world. However, thanks to the efforts of the developer, this inconvenience was quickly resolved, ensuring uninterrupted enjoyment of a peaceful island vacation. In the heat of battle, adventurers often need to focus on the task at hand.

Therefore, general actions such as Desynthesize, Aether Reduction, Retrieve Materia, Attach Materia, Repair, Dye, and Cast Charm have been temporarily disabled to prevent any disruption during combat. This adjustment allows warriors to focus more on their skills and win the battle. The development team is aware of core processing issues that need attention.

While they work hard to resolve the issue, they admit it may take some time to fully resolve it. Rest assured that they are committed to finding solutions and ensuring a seamless gaming experience for all players. To solve the immediate problem, a temporary measure has been implemented specifically for Pandæmonia: Anabaseios (Savage). This demonstrates the developer’s commitment to delivering a smooth, fair gaming experience, even during challenging encounters.

The settings for the data center travel/world access system have also changed. Even during periods of congestion, players can now submit requests to return to their home world, fostering connections with friends and maintaining a sense of community across the vast realm. A temporary solution has been introduced to resolve issues related to switching between gear sets for different charm boards associated with the same device.

This change ensures a seamless transition between various looks, allowing adventurers to effortlessly showcase their personal style and preferences. Additionally, patch 6.41 addresses several issues affecting gameplay. These include the disappearance of the attack indicator for the enemy attack “Entangle” when performing the normal action “Jump”, incorrect attack targets during the boss’s Dusk Trio in “Void Terrace” (Extreme), and sounds not playing under certain conditions ( Windows® version only).

The patch also resolves a customer shutdown issue that occurred at midnight on Island Shelter when the supply and demand window opened with multiple products listed, as well as a freeze when selecting “View Items for Sale” for a retainer placed on an estate. Craftsmen will be happy because the freezing issue that occurred when selecting from the recipe tree after searching for “Dicchio” in the crafting log or selecting the Diadoc sword and opening the subcommand menu has been resolved. These fixes ensure a smoother production experience and prevent any frustrating interruptions.

Finally, localization issues with variant dungeons have been resolved. Previously, the status information of the Mutated Healing Set, Mutated Ultimatum Set, Mutated Boost Set, Mutated Spirit Dart Set, and Mutated Barrier Set will be displayed in Japanese. Now, after applying the patch, this information will be displayed correctly in English, ensuring clarity for all adventurers.

With these important changes and bug fixes, Patch 6.41 breathes new life into the world of Final Fantasy XIV. Adventurers are encouraged to prepare for an exciting journey, engaging storyline, and seamless gameplay experience. As you embark on your next adventure, may your path be filled with victory, friendship, and everlasting memories of exploring the extraordinary world of Eorzea.

About “Final Fantasy 14”

Final Fantasy XIV, developed and published by Square Enix, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that has been attracting players since its release in August 2013. Directed and produced by the talented Naoki Yoshida, the game originally released on PlayStation 3 and Windows as redemption for its unfortunate predecessor that launched in 2010. Over time, support expanded to include PlayStation 4, OS X, and PlayStation 5.

“Final Fantasy 14” is set in the enchanting country of Eorzea, and the story takes place five years after the events of the original disaster. In the finale of the previous game, the mighty dragon Bahamut broke free from his lunar prison, causing the devastating Seventh Shadow catastrophe to engulf Eorzea. However, through divine intervention, the player character travels through time and five years into the future, successfully escaping this disaster. As Eorzea rebuilds and recovers, a new threat looms – the invasion of the Garlean Empire from the north.

The original version of Final Fantasy XIV launched in September 2010 and faced major commercial and critical setbacks. In response, Square Enix’s then-president Yoichi Wada appointed a new team led by the visionary Naoki Yoshida to correct the game’s flaws. This dedicated team set out to not only fix the issues that plagued the original version, but to create an entirely new game that exceeds all expectations. Originally dubbed “Version 2.0,” this ambitious project features a new game engine, improved server infrastructure, and extensive improvements to game mechanics, interface design, and storytelling. The original version of the game was discontinued in November 2012, paving the way for the alpha testing phase of version 2.0.

Under the guidance of Naoki Yoshida and the talented team at Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIV has risen like a phoenix from the ashes. With its immersive world, engaging gameplay, and ever-expanding universe, the game continues to captivate players around the world. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure filled with stunning scenery, engaging quests, and the opportunity to build lasting connections with a vibrant community of fellow adventurers. Final Fantasy XIV is a testament to the resilience and dedication of its developers and serves as a shining example of the gaming industry’s potential for redemption and triumph.
