What are the enhancements in Fortnite?
Across the landscape, enhancements provide your character with the option of gear bonuses or perks at random intervals. You have to choose between the two options provided to you. If you’re not satisfied, you can re-bet once for free to try out two other bonuses. These will persist throughout your time playing Fortnite and may give you an advantage. Using the boost feature is very simple. At certain times during the game, you’ll notice an icon on the right side of the screen, usually after a major event like an approaching storm. Next is the button prompt, which for controller users can be found directly on the d-pad. When you click this button, the Enhance screen will appear.

Fortnite adds 5 new enhancements to Chapter 4
In response to a leak from HYPEX, today’s v23.20 update will introduce five new enhancements in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Players will be able to randomly obtain these new additions between matches, adding to the existing 21 game enhancements. Players can also borrow certain enhancements from friends that they don’t have when the enhancement screen appears. Here are five new enhancements to the game and how to use them.
- Dangerous Hero: When your shield is broken, you temporarily regain health and increase your movement speed.
- Peel’s Plunder: Get a treasure map that will point you in the direction of hidden riches.
- Shotgun Striker: The shotgun fires a siphon when hitting the player
- Rarity Check: Siphon is awarded on kills with common or uncommon weapons.
- Zero Chance: When you destroy an enemy’s shield, you gain zero dash points.
All Fortnite Enhancements and How They Work
If you live long enough, you can stack up to four enhancements. The enhancement possibilities are constantly randomized, but because you can always choose between the two, you can customize your enhancements to create the ideal combination of buffs. There are four different types of boosts you can use in Fortnite: Battle Royale matches.

- mobility and reconnaissance
- robbery
The longer you survive the match, the more enhancement options are automatically generated. New enhancements will appear every two and a half minutes during gameplay. When enhancements are about to become available for selection, a countdown will appear on the right side of the screen. When the enhancement is ready, press the appropriate button that appears on the right side of the screen.
