Here are the recommended settings for a more realistic racing experience. These settings turn off most assists and follow how expert players use them. This is called the “Expert Rules” rule set. If you find these settings too challenging at first, you can always turn some of the accessibility features back on to make the game easier as you learn.
Here are the steering wheel settings for Forza Motorsport 8:
- Rule Set: Expert Rules
- Global Assist Preset: Custom
- Recommended route: none
- Braking: ABS off
- Throttle: no assist

Forza Motorsport is a racing video game about driving fast cars. When it first launches, there are expected to be over 500 different cars and 800 ways to make them cooler. They’ve introduced us to about 80 of these cars, from different eras and different types of racing.
The game will become super realistic. It will have features like ray tracing to make the lights on the track look like they do in real life. As you race, the tires on your car wear out and time changes in the game just like in the real world. When your car is damaged, it will look more realistic and even get dirty as you drive.
There’s other cool stuff too, like what’s happening around the track, realistic lighting and fog effects. They even created a system that makes the cloud look real! You can play the game by yourself in career mode or with others online. When the game launches, you’ll get four extra packs to add even more stuff.
