Hello, survivors! It’s November and we’re happy to talk about the Guerrilla research update, which will be released tomorrow at 10am CET. As you may have seen on our social media channels, it includes weapon enhancements, new free cosmetics, new cosmetic DLC, and some much-needed fixes. let’s start!

Weapon enhancement
We’d love to give you more ways to customize and tweak the way you play Generation Zero. Weapon enhancements are a big step in this direction: they provide new challenges, strengthen and enhance your personal play style, and make the existing range of weapons more diverse than ever before! Not to mention giving those who have been hoarding resources something to spend.
Weapon enhancement consists of two parts: research and crafting. Research is done in a new tab with the same name. It lets you complete different game challenges to unlock enhanced designs.

- [Community Reported] Fixed a crash that occurred when using the Spotter module on a multiplayer machine
- [Community reported] Fixed Firebird’s loot interaction box. No more wandering around the roses!Task
- Fixed an issue where barcodes in “Home Team” were not counted towards bunker progress
- Fixed certain cases where players were unable to talk to Pontus during “Home Team”
- Fixed an issue where the barn door was unlocked when starting the “Emergency Supplies” mission
- Fixed an issue where the Firebird intro mission would not start properly when picking up a tracking device
- Fixed an issue where enemies would not spawn during “Road to Salthamn” gear and weapons
- Removed ragdoll physics from remote ticks after explosion
- Protects RC Tick from mine damage
- Fixed a bug that caused unusually high CPU and GPU usage when exiting the game on PC
- Fixed several crashes that occurred during combat
- Fixed a crash issue when launching SteamSound
- Fixed a bug where some sounds would get stuck in a loop after completing the basic attack UI
- Fixed an issue where enemy outlines would still be present when switching from binoculars to weapon scopes
- Removed undiscovered Warboard POI from radar. No spoilers!world
- Fixed collision issue with cargo crates in the warehouse
- Added new engines to several cars on Himfjäll island
- Fixed multiple floating and misaligned props
- Fixed several terrain cracks and holes
Known issues

- Some of the armor plates on the tank’s legs are mission invulnerable
- Clients losing progress on “Home Team” missions when completing missions in the multiplayer UI
- Multiplayer Matchmaking – Players are unable to join the correct session with preferred multiplayer matchmaking settings
- Safehouse may be lost when logging in. This happens most often on PlayStation.performance
- Riding a motorcycle can crash the game, which was more common on previous generation consoles
