Gujarat Titans (GT) Highest and Lowest Score in IPL – Updated

The Gujarat Titans (GT) became part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022, becoming one of two new teams. The franchise was purchased by CVC Capital Partners for Rs 56,250 crore (approximately US$750 million). In the 2022 auction, they signed Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill, and Pandya was appointed captain. Ashish Nehra served as head coach, while Gary Kirsten joined the mentor and batting coach. Vikram Solanki has been appointed as cricket director.

Gujarat Titans won the IPL trophy in their 2022 debut season, making an immediate impact. They continued to do a great job in 2023, reaching the final in the last ball thriller but losing to Chennai Super Kings.

Although their main players include Hardik Pandya, David Miller, Rashid Khan and Mohammad Shami, not many people expect them to perform well. But under Hardik Pandya, the team performed more than expected and became a dominant force in the first two seasons.

However, the 2024 season is challenging for GT. Hardik Pandya moved to the Mumbai Indians, while the highest scorer of 2023, Shubman Gill, was appointed as the new captain. Unfortunately, the damage and frequent changes in the XI game affected their performance, resulting in an early exit of the tournament without making it to the playoffs. The Gujarat Titans (GT) is a Prime Minister’s franchise cricket team based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, actively participates in the respected Indian Premier League (IPL). The Titans found their home court at the Outstanding Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Currently, the team is the captain of Shubman Gill, replacing Hardik Pandya, who was traded back to the Mumbai Indians as captain of the IPL 2025 season. It is coach Ashish Nehra who guides the team’s strategy and develops talent.

It is worth noting that the Gujarat Giants were led by Hardik Pandya in the 2022 season. It is worth noting that this victory coincides with their league debut season, marking an excellent entry into the IPL arena.
