Hellraiser 2 does not use the GPU
In HELLDIVERS 2, some players noticed that their game was placing all of the workload on the CPU, leaving the GPU idle. Even when they turned the settings down, the CPU was still taking on all of the load, which could cause performance issues like stuttering.
One player suggested that with low settings it shifts all the work to the CPU, while high settings should utilize the GPU more. They suggest finding a balance around medium settings to share the workload between the CPU and GPU.
Another player suggested checking the system GPU settings, updating the drivers, and doing a clean install of the graphics driver to reset the settings. After doing this, they reported improved performance.

However, another gamer pointed out that the assumption that lower settings mean higher CPU usage is wrong. They shared their experience using an Intel i9-9900K and a Radeon RX 6800XT, where CPU usage remained low even with all settings set to low. To accurately monitor GPU usage, they recommend using a program like GPUZ or Afterburner instead of Task Manager, which may not provide an accurate reading.
Additionally, players have shared specific settings that consume more FPS and recommend adjusting these settings to improve performance. These settings include motion blur, depth of field, volumetric clouds, reflection quality, and shadows. Overall, it is important to find the right balance of settings to ensure that both the CPU and GPU are effectively utilized to get the best performance in HELLDIVERS 2.

Hellstalker 2 gameplay
Hellraiser 2 brings something new to the game, switching from the top-down perspective of the previous game to a third-person perspective. Players can experience intense action and carry a variety of strategic weapons in battle. These are like special abilities that players can call upon during the game, such as cluster bombs, sentry guns, shield generators, or supply pods full of powerful weapons.
A notable feature of Hellstalkers 2 is friendly fire, which means players need to be careful in the heat of battle to avoid accidentally injuring their teammates. The game’s armor system is designed to simulate the real impact of gunfire on armored targets, adding a layer of realism to the game.
The multiplayer mode allows up to four players to join forces and complete missions together. Even better, Hellraiser 2 supports cross-platform play between PlayStation 5 and Windows players, allowing players on different platforms to team up and take on challenges together.
In the first few days of release, the game introduced a unique twist that allowed the studio’s human observers to influence gameplay in real time, adding an extra element of unpredictability and excitement to the experience.
