How long is Ghostrunner 2?
Ghostrunner 2 offers an exciting adventure that will keep players invested for approximately 10 to 12 hours, although the time may vary slightly. The game is significantly longer than its predecessor, which took approximately seven hours to complete. Gameplay mostly follows a linear path, with missions separated by the Interface Council Headquarters, a central hub where players can interact with council members and improve their skills.

While most missions follow a set path, some offer players more freedom. There are alternative routes and hidden paths to explore, adding an extra layer of excitement. Additionally, the game offers a range of collectibles and cosmetics for you to discover. For those looking for all of this, expect the game to be a little longer.
A new feature in Ghostrunner 2 is RogueRunner mode, which introduces roguelike elements to the main game. Here, players can tackle increasingly challenging stages. While not essential to the main storyline, it does provide a great opportunity for replayability. Participating in RogueRunner can extend your total play time by several hours.
All in all, completing the story alone will take around 10 to 12 hours, while a full playthrough with all the collectibles and extra content could stretch to 14 to 16 hours.

“Ghostrunner 2” gameplay
In the game, you see through the eyes of the character Jack. He’s very good at moving around dangerous places – he can sprint, jump, run on walls and slide. Jack also has a grappling hook that swings around, and he can do something called “sensory enhancement” to slow down time, making it easier for him to move quickly. There is a meter that shows how often Jack sprints and defends against attacks – this is stamina. Jack fights with a sword, but he also has special abilities. One of these is the “Shuriken” which allows him to throw electric stars. These stars can stun enemies or hit distant switches. It only takes one hit to knock down Jack and his enemies.
In the game, Jack is tasked with getting out of Damo Tower and facing a group of dangerous AI ninja cult members. Ghostrunner 2 adds something new – in some parts you can fight on a motorcycle. While riding, you need to fight enemies and avoid obstacles. Game levels are more open, so you can plan how you want to proceed before facing your enemies. As you play, you can earn upgrades that make Jack better. Unfortunately, motorcycles cannot be upgraded.
