How to Beat Amarys From the Elite Four in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Indigo Disk, Amarys Flying Time Trial in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC

Pokemon scarlet and violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be released on Nintendo Switch in November 2022, marking the beginning of the ninth generation of Pokémon games. Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, these role-playing games differ from their predecessors by introducing the Pardia region, an open-world environment inspired by the Iberian Peninsula.

Unique to Scarlet and Violet are three different storylines for players to explore, showcasing 110 new Pokémon, including regional forms and time-displaced Paradox Pokémon. One notable feature is the Terastal phenomenon, which allows Pokémon to transform into unique “Tera Types.” The game retains popular elements such as vast open areas and Pokémon appearing in the overworld.

Despite initial technical issues and criticism for confusing progression systems and graphics, the games were praised for their open-world design and engaging stories. They were a huge success, selling over 10 million copies in the first three days and setting a record for Nintendo’s largest release. As of September 2023, cumulative sales reached 23.23 million copies.

How to Defeat Amarys in Elite Four in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple Blue

Choose the right Pokemon:

  • Bring Fire, Electric, and Fighting-type Pokémon into the battle, as they are very effective against Amarys’ Steel-type team.

Exploit weaknesses:

  • Focus on exploiting the weaknesses of Amarys’ Pokémon. Use fire-based moves against Skarmory, Scizor, Alolan Dugtrio and Metagross. Use electric-type moves against Empoleon, and use fighting-type moves against Empoleon and Metagross.

Be careful when moving:

  • Pay attention to what Amaryllis’s Pokémon does. Skarmory can use Whirlwind and Stealth Rock, Scizor can use Bullet Punch and Aerial Ace, Empoleon can use Ice Beam and Hydro Pump, Reuniclus can use Trick Room and Energy Ball, Alolan Dugtrio can use Stone Edge and Earthquake, Metagross can use Ice Punch and Zen Headbutt.

Strategic policy:

  • Plan your actions strategically. Consider the strengths and weaknesses of a type and use moves that exploit weaknesses while avoiding those that are less effective.

Prioritize Empoleon and Reuniclus:

  • Concentrate on defeating Embolon and Renicruth first, as they are not weak to fire-type moves. Use electric and fighting-type moves against Embolon, and use psychic and insect-type moves against Renikruth.

Get ready for Alora Dugterio’s beautiful girl punch:

  • Be careful when dealing with Alolan Dugterio as it can use Pretty Girl Fist. Consider using a Pokémon with high defense or priority movement to counter this threat.

Watch out for Metagross’ diverse moves:

  • Approach Metagross with caution, as it has a variety of moves, including fire, earth, ghost, and dark type moves. Adjust your strategy based on its actions.

Treatment and status transfer:

  • Give your Pokémon healing moves or status-altering moves to ensure your team’s longevity throughout the battle.

By following these steps and adjusting your strategy based on Amarys’ Pokemon and moves, you’ll increase your chances of defeating her and advancing to the Elite Four in the Indigo Disk DLC.

Amari’s Flight Time Trial in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disc DLC

Arriving at Canyon Plaza:

  • Complete the main storyline until you reach Canyon Plaza at Blueberry Academy and talk to the receptionist.

Prepare 50 BP:

  • Before starting Amarys’ Elite Trial, make sure you have 50 BP (Battle Points) to participate.

Start the flight time trial:

  • Pay 50 BP to begin Amarys’ Elite Trials, specifically the first part, the Flight Time Trial.

Using Miraidon/Koraidon:

  • In flight time trials, control Miraidon or Koraidon to sail through the sky and reach the target before time runs out.

Flying through the magnetite ring:

  • Fly through the magnet rings scattered in the sky to increase your time. Each ring provides extra time.

Easy to try:

  • This test is considered one of the simplest and does not require much effort. Flying through each magnet ring should be simple and achievable by completing it in one go.

Fighting Amaryllis:

  • After completing the Flight Time Trial, you can battle Amarys and her team of mostly Steel-type Pokémon in the Rift biome.

By following these simple steps, you can easily succeed in Amarys’ Flight Time Trial and advance through the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC storylines.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Gameplay

In Pokémon Crimson and Violet, gameplay sticks to a familiar Pokémon format, with players capturing and trading Pokémon to explore the world and battle other trainers. However, the new addition allows players to choose to fight trainers they encounter along the way.

What sets these games apart is the introduction of an open world that seamlessly blends urban areas with vast wilderness areas, unlike previous Pokémon games. Progression is now more player-driven, with three routes available to choose from, and objectives within those routes can be tackled in any order.

There are 112 new Pokémon in total, including starter Pokémon such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, as well as legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon, providing players with diverse choices. Koraidon or Miraidon can help with travel. Regional forms, Paradox Pokémon, and species with “convergent evolution” (such as the gopher-like Wiglite) add depth. The “Let’s Go” mechanic lets Pokémon roam the world engaging in automated wild battles. Co-op play for up to four players is also included.

A novel feature is the Terastal phenomenon, which transforms Pokémon into crystal forms with corresponding “Tera types.” Special moves like Tera Blast match the Pokémon’s Tera Type, enhancing strategic battles in this charming Pokémon adventure.

Pokemon scarlet and violet plot

The game is set in the Pardia region, which draws inspiration from the Iberian Peninsula and features a diverse landscape including lakes, wastelands, and mountains. An important focus is the large crater of Pardia, which was formed long ago by a meteorite impact and now lies in the center of the area. Within this crater lies Zone Zero, where the phenomenon of Terastalization was first discovered.

The region is divided into 15 regions across four provinces (6 in the south, 3 in the east, 3 in the west, and 3 in the north), with each region displaying different Pokémon. It is worth noting that the lakes and borders of the Pardia region are dotted with small islands and rock formations.

The storyline unfolds against this rich backdrop, providing players with a captivating journey through the mystery and adventure of the Pardia region.
