How to find the Coded Log quest in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 players who accept the seasonal Echoes Act 1 quest will eventually receive the Coded Log quest from Failsafe at the HELM location. The quest requires investigating the Well of Echoes on Nessus, but no exact waypoints are provided.

Go to Nessus and select the fast travel point marked on the map that is closest to the Echo Well. This point is a large building with a triangular opening. Follow the path inside and through the portal to the Echo Well and an apparent battlefield.
Players must first destroy the four Vex cubes in the room before they can knock down the shields of Firewall Guardian Argus and defeat it. There are two Vex cubes on the upper level, one near the static portal and another in the center of the room. Keep moving around and shoot it after its shields are knocked down to defeat it.

The waypoint will now point to the underground opening, so jump into the black void to reach the “Hole A in the Well” area, which is where the “Mystery Protocol” activity is located. The player will be gently lowered into the black void of the Well.
How to complete the coding log in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 players can complete the “Encoded Log” quest by completing the first half of the “Enigma Protocol” event. The event starts at level 2005, so make sure to reach a high level if playing with a randomly matched fireteam.

The first section consists of a platforming section, a fight (where the player must dash through circuits in a glowing pool), another platforming section, a fight with nine Denial agents (whose shields are destroyed by thrown orbs), and a final platforming section.
