Los Bukis, which means “the children” in Yaqui, is a Mexican band that plays grupero music. They formed in 1973 in Ariad Rosales, Michoacán. Today, the band consists of Marco Antonio Solis, who sings and writes songs, Joel Solis on guitar, José Javier Solis on congas, Pedro Sánchez on drums, Roberto Guadarrama on trumpet, José “Pepe” Guadarrama on saxophone and keys, and Eusebio “El Chivo” Cortéz on bass guitar.
