How to get silver coins quickly in Skull and Bones?

-
Performance of Contract:

Contracts are your guarantee of silver. You can pick up contracts from various NPCs in the Outpost or through the Sainte-Anne Job Board. Major contracts offer bigger rewards but are harder to complete and usually come from high-level NPCs like Kingpins. Keep an eye out for simpler contracts from NPCs like the Blacksmith or Goods Merchant. Keep an eye on the Job Board for regular updates and opportunities to earn more silver.
-
Participate in naval battles and fortress raiding:
Take a ride on NPC ships like traders, warships, and gatherers to loot silver and other valuables. Use your scope to assess their difficulty level before attacking, especially the warships that often come in groups. You’ll also come across settlements and fortresses that are suitable for pillaging and offer great rewards. Just be prepared for tower attacks and naval reinforcements, and don’t hesitate to call for backup if things get too intense.
-
Trade Goods:
While exploring and raiding enemy ships, you’ll come across various commodities. Unlike materials and food rations, these items are meant to be traded or sold. Before selling, check their market value, as prices can vary by vendor or outpost. Look for demand indicators (like red or green arrows) to maximize your profits.
By focusing on completing contracts, engaging in naval battles and pillaging forts, and selling valuable merchandise, you’ll be able to quickly accumulate silver in Skull and Bones. With your pockets full of silver, you’ll be ready to rule the high seas and become the most feared pirate.

Skull and bone development
Skull & Bones began its journey as Ubisoft Singapore’s first project in 2013, inspired by the naval battles in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Initially conceived as an expansion to Black Flag and later an MMO spin-off called Black Flag Infinite, it evolved into a standalone project due to technical limitations.
There were significant hurdles during development, including a change in setting from the Caribbean to Hyperborea, before finally being set in the Indian Ocean. The gameplay was revised several times, with the focus shifting from naval exploration to land-based survival elements influenced by games like Rust. Budgetary issues and management challenges plagued the project, which cost more than $120 million.
Skull & Bones was announced at E3 2017, and subsequently suffered a series of delays, with the game originally set to be released in 2018. A “new vision” emerged in September 2020, which further increased the development timeline and attracted the involvement of other Ubisoft studios such as Ubisoft Berlin.
Despite facing several delays, including a closed beta in August 2023, Skull & Bones finally made its way into the gaming world, with its official release date set for February 16, 2024, after a series of rescheduled release dates.
