The Smithscript Dagger is located in the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon. It is located on the east side of the Gravesite Plain area, after crossing the Ellac Greatbridge, take the lower path to the right of the Castle Front Site of Grace.

There’s also the Anvil Hammer weapon at the end of the small dungeon, so be sure to complete the dungeon thoroughly to get both weapons for your trouble.
How to get the Smithscript Dagger in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

Elden Ring players can obtain the Smithscript Dagger by looting a specific corpse midway through the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon. This dungeon is fairly simple, but has some clumsy and well-defended enemies.
Follow the linear path down and take the top path when you reach the larger room. Pull the lever to lower the pillar into the giant lava pit. Both paths lead to the same place, but require the lever to progress in the dungeon.

There is a corpse and a clumsy enemy on the far wall of the platform you jump off. Kill or dodge the enemy and loot the corpse to get the Smithscript Dagger.
The Blacksmith’s Dagger includes the Piercing Throw skill, which allows the player to throw the knife farther and pierce through enemies. Using this weapon requires 11 Agility, 11 Intelligence, 11 Faith, and 5 Strength.
