You can avoid fighting birds on the way, and there’s a Marica stake outside of the boss fight, so you don’t need to continue from the Land of Grace. The Knight of the Black Prison is a fairly difficult fight, but most players will be able to learn his moves in just a few tries.

This weapon has a very high Strength value, easily one of the best weapons in the entire expansion, and possibly even one of the best weapons in the base game. It does amazing physical damage, and the range and damage potential of the Solitary Moon Slash is great. It also pairs very well with the Solitude Set, which can be obtained from the same boss.
This is also one of the weapons you can get early on, and we recommend that power users focus on getting it.
