How to Get Tin Ores in Pax Dei

Pax Dei has several mineable ore deposits, each with varying requirements. Some deposits only require a simple pickaxe, while others require more powerful tools. Tin deposits require these more powerful tools, but even if you have an upgraded pickaxe, you may not be able to find them at all. Here is a quick guide on where to find these Tin deposits and what you can do with the Tin Ore in Pax Dei.

Where are the tin mines in Pakshidi?

Tin deposits are generated near the center of the map. So no matter where your starting area is, you will still have to venture a few minutes to reach that location. These tin deposits often appear in mountainous areas, which are areas marked with a hill symbol or picture on the map.

Once you open the map, you will see a red line separating the various regions. Cross the red line and head to the nearest mountain area near the center of the map. Once you reach that area, look for any mineable mineral deposits. Iron Ore (not pure), Tin Ore, and Copper Ore are all found in these areas.

You’ll need to upgrade your initial pickaxe to an iron pickaxe in order to mine all of these deposits. Therefore, you should upgrade your tools before venturing out. Stronger enemies like wolves, bears, and corrupted enemies roam the area, so it’s a good idea to get some better weapons and armor as well.

If this is your first time going to this area, I recommend mining copper ore and iron ore as well. Once you smelt all of these minerals, you’ll unlock all of the recipes.

What is tin ore used for?

Tin Ore unlocks Tin Ingots in the Furnace. These Tin Ingots also unlock Copper Ingots, and you need 20 Tin Ingots, 20 Copper Ingots, and 100 Charcoal to make 20 Copper Ingots. Each crafting takes 45 minutes to complete.

In addition to making Copper Ingots, you’ll need 20 Tin Ore and 30 Charcoal to make 10 Tin Ingots, which also takes 45 minutes to make. In short, you’ll need multiple Furnaces and Charcoal Kilns to keep up with the production of these materials.

You can build all of these production builds, but you’ll still have the problem of getting all the basic resources like sapwood (for charcoal) and ore. This requires a lot of grinding, so you should start farming in bulk to save some time.
