How to unlock and equip facial accessories in Final Fantasy XIV: Tracks of Dawn
To unlock the Face Mask in Final Fantasy 14, you will first need to purchase it from an NPC in town or from the Market Committee. Here are some places where you can purchase the Face Mask:

Once you have the facial costume you want, you can equip it using the character rig window by clicking on the facial costume icon. It will display a box on the right where you can select the style and one of the 12 colors.
How to turn old glasses into facial accessories in Final Fantasy XIV: Tracks of Dawn
If you already had glasses before the release of the Dawntrail expansion, but can’t equip them now, that’s because glasses now have a new meaning after patch 7.0. They are now called Facewear, and you can find them in shops such as “The Faces We Wear”, followed by the item name.

To be able to equip them, you first need to convert them to facial costumes. To do this, visit any Disaster Rescuer and select “Glasses Swap” from the list to convert all glasses to new facial costumes. It won’t cost you anything to do this, so make sure you do this step so you can use your old glasses after the latest patch.
Here are some places where you can find disaster responders:
- Old Gridania (X:10.0, Y:8.4)
- Limsa Lominsa – Upper Deck (X:11.4, Y:14.4)
- Ul’dah – Tal’s Steps (X:12.6, Y:13.1)
