What is the Forged Camo in Modern Warfare 3?

Forged Camo is one of the famous 12 perfect camouflages in MW3, providing players with a unique visual experience. This camo has a sleek, futuristic appeal with a bold silver metallic hue that exudes a cool, almost otherworldly aesthetic. Its design embodies a sense of sophistication, adding a touch of elegance to the weapon and making it stand out for those players who conquer the game’s challenges. This unique camouflage is not only a mark of achievement, but also a visual testament to players’ dedication and skill in tackling the complex challenges of Modern Warfare 3.

    • Reach a certain number of gold-plated camo challenges for that weapon class (e.g. battle rifle).

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” is a highly anticipated first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision Blizzard. This is the twentieth entry in the “Call of Duty” series and the third entry in the rebooted “Modern Warfare” sub-series, following the events of 2022’s “Modern Warfare II”.

The game will be available on multiple platforms on November 10, 2023, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. “Modern Warfare III” retains the realistic and contemporary setting of the previous game and continues the overall narrative of the series.

The storyline revolves around the multinational special operations force Task Force 141 as they hunt down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist who plans to incite World War III. The multiplayer portion of the game features remastered versions of all 16 base maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with additional maps being prepared for post-launch updates.

In addition, the game also introduces a zombie mode in an open world environment, providing players with an experience against the environment – a first in the “Modern Warfare” series. Originally intended as an expansion pack for Modern Warfare II, Sledgehammer Games later transformed its project into a full-fledged standalone game in the Call of Duty series.

They use the IW version 9.0 engine to develop the game. In addition, Treyarch, the main developer of the Call of Duty: Black Ops sub-series, also collaborated to create Zombies mode. After a series of leaks earlier this year, the game was officially unveiled in August 2023, with a showcase event and open beta held in October.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” gameplay

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III offers similar gameplay to its predecessor, Modern Warfare II, and the broader Call of Duty series. It retains features such as slide to cancel, and introduces “open combat missions” in the campaign, allowing players to approach targets more freely.

In multiplayer mode, all 16 maps of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be accessible at launch. Players can vote for maps in the matchmaking lobby, a feature returning after being omitted from some recent games. The game also increases the player’s health, thereby extending the “time to kill” (TTK).

The “red dot” minimap, which was not present in Modern Warfare 2019, is back with a vengeance, showing the location of enemies when they fire unsuppressed weapons. Classic game modes like Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint are back, along with a new mode called Cutthroat. Ground War and War modes return with dedicated maps, and AI-driven moderation can identify and report toxic behavior. More than a dozen new multiplayer maps will be released at launch.

A highlight is the novel open-world PvE Zombies mode developed in partnership between Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games. Unlike traditional turn-based Zombies, it follows a DMZ mode structure, with up to 24 players forming squads to battle zombies and AI-controlled human enemies to complete objectives, collect loot, and extract items.

The mode introduces “zones” instead of rounds, with escalating difficulty levels. Aetherstorms and narrative-driven story missions add depth to the experience.
