Find the treasure chest:

The Farmer’s Chest is located in the northern part of Harrow, at the southern end of the map. Start in the small cave shelter and head south until you find an abandoned house. The treasure chest is inside this house, but you’ll need to overcome some obstacles to get there.

Remove Guard:

Once you reach the house, you’ll notice that the area is protected from Antea. Jump over the wooden fence and head to the right side of the house, then immediately turn left to approach the house from the other side. Enter the house and head to the room at the end of the hallway, where you’ll find the protection. Destroy it to regain the ability to switch to Antea.

Get the key:

Inside the house, switch to Antea and use Outburst Manifestation to destroy the wooden fence blocking the front door. Once outside the house, find a carriage and move it to the right to access the upper level of the house.

Climb up the wagon and then jump off the platform on the left to reach the back of the house. There, you’ll find another wagon. Move back slightly and onto the upper platform in front of you. Hack the wooden fence to your right to reveal a secret cave. In the cave, look to the right to find a small bag containing the key to the farmer’s chest.

Open the treasure chest:

Once you have the key, simply follow the cave path straight ahead to exit. Return to the house and back to where the treasure chest is. Use the key to open the treasure chest and claim the valuable reward stored inside.

By following these steps, you will successfully unlock the treasure chest in the farmer’s box and obtain its contents in Deportees: Ghosts of New Eden.

Remove the guards and enter the house

Identifying Wards: Recognizing Barriers to Progress

As you approach the abandoned house that holds the Farmer’s Crate, you’ll notice a mysterious barrier looming over the area. These barriers are a massive obstacle that impedes your progress and prevents the use of certain abilities, especially Antia’s powers. Identifying these barriers is crucial, as they mean intervention is required before further exploration.

Navigating within a constituency: moving to the other side of the House

To get around the guards and into the house, you must go around the perimeter of the building. Start by moving to the right side of the house and jumping over the wooden fence. Once you reach the other side, continue toward the entrance, avoiding the direct reach of the guards. This strategic maneuver allows you to approach the house from different angles, laying the groundwork for the next step of your efforts.

Destroy the Guardians: Remove the obstacles to Antea’s power

Inside the house, you’ll come across the source of the enchantment at the end of the hallway. This barrier prevents the use of Antea’s abilities, hindering your ability to progress further. To proceed, you must destroy the enchantment, thereby removing the barrier to Antea’s abilities.

By doing so, you pave the way for restoring her unique ability, which is essential for overcoming subsequent challenges and unlocking the Farmer’s Crate.
