How to Use Photo Mode in Tarisland

I love using Photo Mode in my favorite games, and I’m sure most of you do too. It’s a fantastic quality of life feature that, firstly, makes this job easier, but also allows me to take screenshots of exciting moments, unique armor sets, and beautiful scenery. With that in mind, here’s how to use Photo Mode in Tarisland!

How to use Tarisland’s Photo Mode

First, to access Tarisland’s photo mode, navigate to System Settings in the bottom-right corner of the HUD. It’s the last button on the right-most menu with a gear and wrench icon. Once you’ve accessed this tab, select “Photo” from the menu. It will automatically bring up the game’s photo mode, which includes various settings, such as:

  • surroundings
  • action
  • template
  • Professional Edition
  • Hide Menu

You’ll definitely want to try out Tarisland’s photo mode, because despite what it may not look like at first, it’s pretty feature-rich. You can move the camera’s position, change whether your character is looking straight ahead, alter the surroundings, emote to the camera, and even summon a mount to take pictures with you.

Unfortunately, there’s a problem. If you like clean screenshots without HUD elements or watermarks, you won’t find them here. Every snapshot you take in Tarisland will have the game logo in the top right corner, and your character name and server in the bottom left. They’re too big and annoying.

Where to find Tarisland screenshots

Thankfully, you don’t have to worry about navigating countless folders in the Windows backend. When you take a screenshot using the photo mode in Tarisland, the image will automatically be saved to the “Pictures” directory on your computer when you use the green download button.

Each image is automatically saved as a PNG and is approximately 4 MB in size. You may want to compress it a bit to save space and stay within social media limits when sharing screenshots!

Don’t forget to take some pictures while Talislan is upgrading!
