How to use Ascension Runes in Last Age?

Open the Forge menu:

Press the “F” key to access the Forge menu in Last Epoch.

Select your product:

Select the item from your inventory that you want to upgrade with the Ascension Rune. Place it in the center of the Forge menu.

Check forging potential:

Before you proceed, make sure your Ascendancy Rune has enough forging potential. If the potential is insufficient, you may not be able to complete the upgrade.

Start making:

Find the “+” symbol at the bottom of the Forge menu. Click it to start the crafting process.

Select Rune Ascension Modifications:

In the crafting options, select the Rune Ascendancy modifier. This tells Forge that you want to use Ascendancy Runes to upgrade your item.

Finished and Forged:

Confirm your selection and the forge will apply the rune of ascension to the item you selected. After some magic, your item will be transformed into a unique item or part of a set.

Keep in mind that each use of a rune reduces the power of the forge, so make sure to make strategic choices when upgrading your items!

Previous Era

Last Epoch is a game made by Eleventh Hour Games. They released a free demo for Kickstarter support in April 2018. Then, in April 2019, a beta version of the game was released on Steam Early Access.

Initially, they planned to release the full version of the game in April 2020, but they needed more time. Therefore, they planned to release it at the end of 2020. But in October 2020, they said that they could not make a Mac version because it was too difficult.

In December 2020, EHG said the game wouldn’t be ready until 2021. Then, in March 2023, they let a few people try playing together online in a beta. Finally, in October 2023, they announced that the full game would be released on February 21, 2024. That’s how Last Epoch went from demo to full game!
