IPL Final Prize Money 2024: Winners, Runner-up, Orange, Purple Cap and Cash Prize Details

Kolkata Knight Riders clinched their third IPL title by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. KKR ended a decade-long wait with a dominant performance, restricting SRH to just 113 runs before quickly chasing the target with 9.3 overs remaining. The win added to KKR’s wins in 2012 and 2014.

For their outstanding performance, KKR received a cash prize of Rs 20 crore as the IPL 2024 champions, while the runners-up SRH received Rs 12.5 crore.

2024 IPL Finals Champion and Runner-up Prize Money

BCCI announced the prize money for the IPL 2024 champions, with a total prize pool of Rs 46.5 crore. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the final and received a prize of Rs 20 crore. KKR and SRH played aggressive cricket throughout the tournament and earned a spot in the IPL 2024 finals.

Virat Kohli won the Orange Cap and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh in this tournament with his amazing score of 741 runs. It is noteworthy that he is the only Indian to have won the Orange Cap twice in the history of IPL.
