Last Epoch was originally scheduled for release in April 2020, but the full release was rescheduled to the fourth quarter of 2020. However, the game suffered a setback when the Mac client was cancelled in October 2020. The developer said that the decision was made due to the expected difficulties faced by Apple’s switch to ARM-based processors.

Despite these challenges, development on Last Epoch continued, and in December 2020, EHG announced that the game’s release would be delayed until 2021. Finally, in March 2023, a multiplayer beta was launched, allowing players to join forces and experience the game world together.

Last Era Squirrel Construction

The Last Age Squirrel build is a unique and terrifying playstyle centered around the Squirrel Beastmaster. This build harnesses the power of angry squirrels, turning them into a force to be reckoned with. With the Scurrying Herald, the Beastmaster can convert summoned wolves into summoned squirrels, effectively doubling their numbers. While this unique helmet is not essential to the build, it is highly recommended for optimal performance.

In battle, Beastmaster charges into battle, infusing his loyal companions with his own ferocity. He leads the pack with strength and might, unleashing his fury upon his enemies. To maximize their potential, this build utilizes Fury Leap, which lets Beastmaster and his squirrels leap into the heart of the battlefield. As they engage their enemies, Beastmaster’s summoned ghost wolves use sweep attacks to deal devastating damage.

To further enhance their abilities, the Squirrel Form adds the ability to summon a Berserker Totem. This totem not only aids in attacking, but also provides powerful buffs to the Beastmaster and his allies. Additionally, casting a Warcry grants additional powerful buffs to the Beastmaster and his companions, further increasing their prowess on the battlefield.

While the Sprinting Vanguard is an essential part of this build, there are other unique items that greatly enhance its effectiveness. Fangs, Jura’s Obsession, Blood Ribbon, and Bastion of Honor all work well with the Squirrel build, providing additional bonuses and increasing its ferocity.

Last Era Squirrel Construction Skills

The Last Epoch Squirrel Build utilizes multiple skills to maximize the potential of Summon Squirrel. The Summon Squirrel skill itself is derived from the Summon Wolf tree, making the Pack Hunters node a key component as it can increase the size of the pack or haste. To further increase damage output, investing in Savage Hunters, Legendary Bite, and Howl of Might is recommended as they provide valuable damage multipliers. In the absence of The Fang unique items, allocating a Safety In Numbers point is necessary.

Swipe plays a vital role in this build as it helps trigger the Wolf and Squirrel Spirit Wolves. With the Call of the Wild node, Swipe’s AoE can be maximized by equipping Wengarian Reach and taking advantage of the increased attack speed provided by the Feline Hunter. Slaughter is another important node to secure kills and activate the Circle of Life passive skill.

Summon Rage Totem is an excellent support skill that provides a very powerful buff while active. It synergizes particularly well with Summon Wolves thanks to nodes like Bestial Rage and Lead the Pack. To cast Howl or Squirrel’s Fury more often, use Furious Roar.

Warcry plays a vital role in gaining the Berserker buff, increasing attack speed and subsequently triggering more Ghost Wolves with the swing. Jomon’s Fury is a valuable skill that can freeze formidable enemies, allowing Wolves or Squirrels to benefit from Frozen Breath and deal more damage. It also provides 1 second of immunity thanks to the Juggernaut node.

Furious Leap is an excellent mobility skill with utility and valuable minion synergy. The Warrior Entry node provides a strong attack buff, while Pack Leader enables a wolf or squirrel to leap alongside the player. Regenerating Stamina can be triggered reliably thanks to Swipe’s Culling node.
