He entered the game with 13,985 in the 298 ODI and surpassed the Sachin Tendulkar milestone when he hit Haris Rauf’s border on the 13th second ball. Kohli completed the feat in just 287 innings, much faster than Tendulkar, who took 350 innings to reach the same benchmark. This achievement brings Kohli to the only player to run 14,000 runs in ODI along with cricket legends Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara.
