Lords of the Fallen 1.560 Patch Notes

Lords of the Fallen update v.1.1.560 released on February 29

Greetings to the lantern holders are now live on all platforms.

Prior to this update, we worked on a wide range of optimizations for Mournstead, including a number of enhancements and tweaks to drastically improve performance across all machines. In addition to this, we also focused again on the inventory system to avoid and remove duplicates.

Today’s highlights are as follows:

  • Optimization Pass In parallel with previous updates, we’ve been working on an extensive Optimization Pass that brings another significant boost to Optimization, going live today on all platforms.
  • Updated Graphics Settings We’ve tweaked the graphics settings for the Low graphics profile to further improve performance on lower-end machines. We’ve also adjusted some default settings based on the data you sent us via Sentry to fit the hardware of our player base.
  • Additionally, we’ve introduced new cinematic settings for the latest and greatest hardware so that you can take advantage of the full capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. Please note that this will have an impact on performance.
  • If you have any doubts about how to use the adjusted graphics settings, use the “Auto Settings” button and Unreal will do the benchmarking work for you to establish the optimal settings.
  • Inventory Duplicate Cleanup We have been working hard to implement a new system management tool that affects how duplicate items (spells, quest items, etc.) interact with your inventory. Starting with this patch, all duplicates in your inventory will be automatically deleted and prevent any future duplicates from being collected.

Additional information for optimal performance and stability:

  • Laptop gamers please make sure you are not in Energy Saver or Power Saver mode as these modes will significantly reduce game performance. You may want to check your settings to make sure it is in Performance mode for best results.
  • Intel CPU Crashes We have seen some crashes on Sentry from Intel 13700k or 13900k. If you have these CPUs and are experiencing crashes, consider adjusting the game’s BIOS settings.

Thanks again to everyone who reported issues via Sentry, which helped us greatly in identifying issues for each specific hardware configuration.

In the light, we move forward. HEXWORKS Team

Lords of the Fallen gameplay

Lords of the Fallen offers players an action-packed gaming experience where players can wield melee weapons and magic in a fantasy world. Similar to games like Dark Souls, combat is both challenging and strategic. Players can team up with others to complete the entire campaign, or participate in player-versus-player battles.

In the game, players can create their own character, choosing from nine different classes, each with its own abilities and advantages. The world of Lords of the Fallen is vast and interconnected, with two realms: Axiom, the realm of the living, and Umbral, the realm of the dead.

Players can traverse these realms using a magical lantern, encountering unique challenges and enemies in each realm. Death in the game teleports the player to Umbral, where they must regain lost experience points, adding an extra challenge to the gameplay.
