Minecraft Snapshot 24w11a Patch Notes
The Minecraft Snapshot 24w11a patch notes were released on March 14 and contain a number of new features and bug fixes. These features include mace weapons and additional features in courtroom pottery fragments, armor decoration and banner patterns. Find out exactly what’s new in the patch notes.

Building Blocks
Focus on the core
- A mysterious and dense block that can be combined with the Breeze Rod to create a brand new weapon: the mace!

- Items dropped by Breeze, can be crafted into 4 Wind Bombs, or used with Heavy Cores to craft maces

- A new heavy weapon to crush your enemies!
- Taking advantage of the new weapon’s weight, the farther it falls before hitting its target, the more damage it does
- Try jumping towards your target and hitting them before landing
- Successfully hitting a target in this manner will remove any damage accumulated from the fall, similar to how Wind Charge works
- Other entities near the struck enemy will be knocked back by the mace’s immense power.
- Like any other weapon, using a mace reduces its durability; use the Breeze Rod on an anvil to repair it
- Players can combine the mace with wind bombs to unleash devastating crushing attacks on enemies

The number of Breeze Rods dropped is affected by the looting enchantment.

Variety
- Adjusted the flight behavior of bees and parrots to prevent them from flying out of position when flying up and down

- Menu background blur has been updated to look better and perform better

Mace weapon in Minecraft snapshot?
The mace weapon in the Minecraft snapshot is part of the new patch 24w11a. This weapon can be crafted by combining the Breeze Rod found in the Inquisition with the Heavy Core material.
This is a heavy melee weapon that players can hold in their hands to fight their enemies. In order to hit them properly, the player needs to fall down and hit the target before falling, if hitting the enemy accurately then the player will not take any kind of damage, just like the wind charge mechanic.
The weapon can also be combined with a wind charge device to deliver a deadly attack on enemies. Like all weapons, regular use will damage it, and to increase its durability and working condition, the player can repair it on an anvil using the Breeze Rod.
