What is the New York Times and how to play it?
In the NYT chain, players need to search for words linked to the common theme in the 6×8 letter grid. You can form words by sliding on letters or tapping them individually. If you are using TAPS, make sure to double-click the last letter to submit your words. The correct topic words are still highlighted in blue. Meanwhile, if you find a word that has nothing to do with the topic of the day, it will be converted to a prompt and after unlocking 3 prompts, the puzzle gives you a word of a word. Your goal is to discover all related words without overlapping.
Each puzzle also has a special word called Spangram, which is associated with the subject and spans from one side of the grid across the other. The real challenge is to identify and select the right words that fit the subject, which will give you a fun and engaging puzzle experience.
