“Overwatch 2” Roadhog’s rework and new abilities detailed
The Scrap Gun’s secondary fire is going away. Total damage per shot increased from 150 to 160, but shotgun shells will be reduced. Instead, the shooting center will have four large projectiles, each of which will deal 15 points of damage. Critical damage multiplier reduced from 2x to 1.5x.

Take a breath is now assigned to secondary fire by default. It works based on a gradually replenished resource table. It takes 12 seconds to fully recharge, and the cooldown has been reduced from 8 seconds to 1 second. The feature remains active as long as the button is held down. When fully charged, it can heal Roadhog for 450 health points in three seconds. Damage reduction reduced from 50% to 30%.

Roadhog’s new ability is called “Pig Pen.” It launches a trap that slows and damages enemies. The trap will cause 60 points of damage when triggered, and 30 points of damage in a certain area every second for three seconds. It has a 12 second cooldown.
