Full badminton schedule for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Badminton made its first appearance at the Olympics in 1972 as a demonstration sport at the Munich Games, allowing fans to experience the fast and furious action of badminton. In 1988, badminton returned to the Olympics in the form of an exhibition match, which excited all participants and put more pressure on the International Olympic Committee to finally agree to include badminton as an official medal sport.

Badminton officially debuted at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, with four medal events: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles. Since then, representatives from all over the world have emerged to shock global audiences with the high-level Olympic badminton competitions.
