The 2024 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony is scheduled for August 11 at 3 pm EST or 9 pm CEST.
Viewers who live in the Central Daylight Time zone and wish to watch the Closing Ceremony should tune in at 2 p.m. If you live in the Mountain Daylight Time zone, the event will begin at 1 p.m.; if you live in the Pacific Daylight Time zone, the Closing Ceremony will begin at noon.

What is the Olympic Closing Ceremony about?
According to the Olympics, the closing ceremony of the first modern Olympics was very different from today’s closing ceremony.
There are many key parts to the Olympic Closing Ceremony. First, the host country’s head of state and the IOC president enter. After that, the host country’s national anthem is sung or played while the national flag is raised.
Other traditional elements often appear at the Closing Ceremony, such as the parade of athletes and flags. Next, the Olympic flag will be handed over to the representative of the city that will host the Olympic Games four years later.

The 2024 Olympics Closing Ceremony will see performances from Snoop Dogg, HER, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Billie Eilesh.
“This is the biggest moment in LA28’s history to date as the Olympic flag is carried from Paris to Los Angeles,” said LA28 President Casey Wasserman. “We are excited to showcase the best of Los Angeles with local artists and are grateful to Billie, HER, the Chili Peppers and Snoop for their partnership on what will be an incredible show for a global audience, giving fans a taste of what 2028 will be like,” he added.
Organizers have transformed France’s national stadium, the Stade de France, into a large concert hall. It is reported that more than 100 actors, dancers, circus performers and acrobats will participate in the closing ceremony.
“We want to celebrate, but celebrate consciously,” said Thomas Joly, artistic director of the Closing Ceremony. “This moment of celebration will also be an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the Olympic Games in our society.”
