Persona 5 Tactics

Persona 5 Tactica is a new video game launching on November 17, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It is a spin-off of the Persona series and part of the Megami Tensei series.

In this game, you will follow the adventures of the Phantom Thieves of Heart, who are trapped in an alternate world full of war and oppression. To fight the bad guys known as the Legionnaires, they join forces with a group of freedom fighters known as the Rebels.

Gameplay is like other strategy RPGs, with grid-based movement, a weapon system, and turn-based combat. It also retains some features from the Persona series, such as summoning and fusing Personas and using different elemental powers. This game was made because Atlus wanted to make a strategy RPG in the Persona world, and they had experience making similar games.

Persona 5 Tactics Game

In Persona 5 Tactica, gameplay involves controlling a team of up to three characters on a grid-based map. You’ll encounter enemy units on the map, and when you get close to them, turn-based combat begins. Your team includes Erina, a key member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts and captain of the Rebel Legion.

In combat, you can use physical attacks at close range, shoot with ranged weapons, or summon Personas, which are like magical creatures with special abilities. These characters have access to different elemental attacks, and you want to use the right element to exploit your enemy’s weaknesses to get extra turns.

When you weaken multiple enemies and line up your team in a triangle, you can unleash a powerful move called “Triple Threat.” Outside of combat, you can collect more characters for your leader, Joker, and use them in combat. The game’s story takes place on a map inspired by the historical revolutions of different kingdoms.
