Formed in 2016, Sleep Token is a British rock band known for their mysterious and unique style. Led by the mysterious lead singer Vessel, the band members wear masks and capes to maintain their anonymity. They debuted in 2016 with the single “Thread the Needle” and later released the EP “One”. Sleep Token’s musical style breaks genres, combining elements of alternative metal, post-rock, and progressive metal.
They signed with labels such as Basick Records and later Spinefarm Records and released their debut album, Sundowning, in 2019, followed by This Place Will Become Your Tomb in 2021. The band’s third album, Take Me Back to Eden, came out in 2023. Despite the challenges, including the alleged online exposure incident, Sleep Token continues to attract fans with its unique sound and mysterious image.
