Jesse Kardon, better known by his stage name Subtronics, is a DJ and music producer from Philadelphia, USA. He is known for his song “Griztronics”, a collaboration with GRiZ, which became a hit in late 2019, peaking at number 9 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He also peaked at number 10 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart in September 2019. He is married to Sonya Broner, also a DJ and producer, who goes by the stage name Level Up.

Subtronics is best known for his mixtape series Now That’s What I Call Riddim. Even though it’s called Riddim, it’s not all Riddim music. He started the series in February 2017 and it has grown to five volumes.

Each mixtape features remixes, exclusive mixes, and unreleased songs. DJs and producers also talk between songs. The fourth mixtape, “Now That’s What I Call Riddim Vol. 4,” features about 110 songs from many different artists. He released the fifth mixtape in January 2020 and called it the last in the series.
