Suicide Squad vs Justice League Patch Notes
In the latest patch for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released on February 14, 2024, developer Rocksteady has addressed the XP exploit associated with vehicle kills during Gizmo’s Support Squad mission, which no longer awards XP. The update also fixes several bugs, such as the burn damage scaling bug and the Toyman gear enhancement bug.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug causing burn damage to scale with both player damage buffs and enemy debuffs. Burn damage should only scale with enemy debuffs.
- Fixed a bug that allowed Toyman to stack multiple of the same enhancement on your gear.
- Fixed a bug where changes to equipment enhancements would sometimes not be saved after exiting a multiplayer session and joining a single-player session.
Changes in this version:
- Heatwave’s Lava Skin and Shell damage reduction reduced from 100% to 90%.
- Due to some players exploiting certain mission mechanics, Gizmo’s Support Squad missions no longer grant XP for vehicle kills. You will still receive XP for completing the mission.
- With the fix for burn damage, it will be less likely that players will get the same Mastery level as before. Therefore, we will be creating new leaderboards for the sake of fairness. Don’t worry though, we will archive the existing leaderboards, so the current toppers will always be in the spotlight!
- Following the fix to Burn damage scaling, and having heard people’s concerns about hitting a wall as they progressed through Mastery levels, we’re reducing enemy health scaling at Mastery level 46 and above.
- To increase the challenge, enemies at Mastery Level 46 and above will now deal more damage.

The latest patch for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League brings several notable improvements. The developers resolved a bug that caused burn damage to scale with both player damage buffs and enemy debuffs, ensuring that burn damage now scales only with enemy debuffs.
Additionally, a bug where the Toyman could stack multiple of the same enhancement on his gear has been fixed. Another bug where modifications to gear enhancements would sometimes not be saved after switching between multiplayer and single-player sessions has also been resolved.
In terms of changes, Heatwave’s Melted Skin and Shell damage reduction has been reduced from 100% to 90%. Vehicle kills in Gizmo’s Support Squad missions no longer grant XP due to players exploiting certain mission mechanics, but XP is still awarded for completing the mission. To address issues with hitting a wall when increasing Mastery levels, a fix to Burn damage scaling may make it less likely that players will reach the same Mastery level as before.
To maintain fairness, new leaderboards will be created and existing ones will be archived. Additionally, to balance the game challenge, enemy health scaling has been reduced for Mastery Level 46 and above. However, these higher Mastery level enemies will now deal more damage to keep the game appropriately challenging.
