Christopher Young Kim’s Early Life
Christopher Young Kim, also known by his stage name Mazino, was born in Maryland and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He and his two sisters were raised by Korean immigrant parents, and his father moved to the United States from Korea when he was 16. Mazino holds a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
He initially pursued higher education at the University of Maryland but later decided to drop out and moved to New York City in 2014. In New York City, he enrolled at the Stella Adler Acting Studio where he trained for a year to pursue his passion for acting.
Christopher Young King’s acting career
In 2018, Mazino, whose real name is Christopher Young Kim, decided to use the stage name “Young Mazino.” He combined his actual middle name with the name of Urek Mazino, a manga character from Tower of God created by Korean artist SIU.
