Three Full Supermoons Are Coming Up in 2025! Here’s When to See Them

Many cosmic and astronomical events are taking place in 2024, including a rare planetary alignment and a total solar eclipse. A total of four supermoon events occurred this year, each appearing larger and brighter than usual in the night sky.

With 2025 just two months away, there are some exciting astronomical events to look forward to. One of these is the supermoon, which occurs three times throughout the year and provides skywatchers with stunning views of the moon, the closest moon to Earth.

These supermoons will occur in October, November and December of 2025, giving astronomers and stargazers plenty of opportunities to witness the moon in all its glory.

In addition, there will be a rare conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 2025, creating a spectacular scene in the night sky that has not been seen in centuries.
